New-build yacht consultancy
Building a new yacht is a process spread over years with many decisions. From the specification to shipyard discussions we represent you on the design side and help the idea you had on day one survive to delivery day.

The specification is the contract for the design
The specification signed with the shipyard decides what the yacht will be. We help you write your interior and exterior expectations down early, and compare yard proposals from the design point of view.

Keeping the design intact through the build
Decisions made during construction can quietly change small details of a design. We follow the drawings and material choices, and work with the yard and craftspeople on site so the build stays true to the design.
What is included?
- Needs and use analysis
- Design specification preparation
- Design review of shipyard proposals
- Interior and exterior design
- Material and equipment selection
- Design follow-up through the build
Good to know
What exactly is new-build consultancy?
It means we represent you in specification preparation, shipyard discussions and design decisions throughout the build. We do not do the shipyard's work; we help the design be carried out the way you want.
Do you help choose a shipyard?
We help you assess proposals and the specification from the design side. The final shipyard decision is yours and your advisers'.
At what stage should I bring you in?
If possible, before the shipyard contract. Settling design decisions while the specification is written reduces revisions later.
Can I take interior and exterior design together for a new build?
Yes. Running interior and exterior from one hand helps the yacht read as a whole.
