Meltem 48
An interior imagined for a family that spends long summers cruising the Mediterranean. In Meltem 48, every space is arranged to bring in the sea light as it changes through the day.
This page is ENG Yachting's own design study. The images were created to illustrate the concept and do not show a delivered yacht.

A plan drawn around light
The main salon, dining area and owner's suite sit on a single axis, so from sunrise to sunset the light walks through the yacht from one end to the other.

Few materials, chosen well
Walnut veneer, honed travertine and brushed bronze. We kept the palette narrow; the same three materials return at different scales in the salon, the dining room and the bathroom.

The owner's deck
Cabin, bathroom and dressing room are designed as one quiet space. The bed is raised to window height so the owner wakes level with the sea.
Material palette
- Walnut veneer
- Honed travertine
